I made a start on a base so there's a plank of wood with a hole in it haha no hopper sorry and the price asked is pretty much the price I paid.

I'd be interested in some of the hops, what amount of them do you have? In particular maybe citra, cascade or chinook.
Title: Re: End of an era Sale
Post by: CARA on September 13, 2014, 06:55:18 PM
5kg chinook
850g or so of cascade
600g or so of citra

5k of chinook might be too much for me!

But what are you asking for the other two, either together or separate?

Can I be cheeky and ask how are they stored/sealed?

If you're in Dublin on Monday any chance you could bring the chiller with you, and I could collect it from you.  I'd also be interested in the electric boiler with the strainer and kettle lead,  and the immersion heater.  Would you take sixty for the two?  If you had any cascade hops left I'd take some of them too.

I'll answer the other two in the morning, I'm in the pub lol. As the original post states, vacuumed and freezer stored :p It is possible for me to split up the chinook, that's just how much I have. I'll get ya a price when I get home

Yep I can take the full container. Cheers. It'd be my brother collecting it but whatever day suits best. Friday, Saturday or early on Sunday as that's when we'll be brewing.

I do yeah, I'll reply to the rest of you later sorry! Between work and drinking I haven't been on much!
Coming up to Dublin in the van tomorrow anyway so will be bringing everything. The only definite place I know I'll be (with deliveries and a cask install to do) is Alphie Byrnes at around 7 ISH for a Meet the Brewer thing starting at 8ish
Title: Re: End of an era Sale

So just going through the posts in order;

Mcgrath, crates & bottles, Damien M very kindly sorting delivery there. Paid

Auralabuse, beer line. Dublin tomorrow? Paid

Ferg, bag of Maris, Dublin tomorrow? 25 please

Delzep, stir plate & flask, Dublin tomorrow? 50 please

Chacmool, heater & chiller you have, Dublin tomorrow for the boiler/lead/strainer? Paid I think

Groom, Maris & Carboy, Dublin tomorrow? 35 please

Cruiscinlan, I'm up tomorrow, you can have first dibs on the stuff listed below if you make it to Dublin tomorrow, sorry for not getting back to you properly.

Fal, cascade, citra & chinook pellets are all gone but I have just under a kilo of Falconers Flight which is a blend of the 7 C's! Also exp 366 200g, chinook leaf 750g. I'd give you them all for 50 quid and throw in a few kilos of Sovereign, bag of fuggles, perle etc etc about 8kilos in total.  (The Falconers alone would cost more than that on the HB shops!)

Irish Party Ale, mill, Dublin tomorrow? 130 please

Donnacha, disconnects, Dublin tomorrow, 64 please

ColmR, caps, Dublin tomorrow, 20 please

Anyone else??

So plan to be at Alfies around 7.30, maybe before, definitely not later than 7.45. Also around during the day but doing deliveries and installations so might be hard to pin down.

Another few things I found in the next post there too with Cruiscinlan first dibs (I'm leaving at around lunchtime tomorrow)
