Title: Newbie from Mallow, Cork
Post by: jimbuckleybarrett on September 16, 2014, 03:20:19 PM
Hi,

Wife and I decided to try this out as our hobby together.

Completely and utterly clueless to all of this.

Purchased a starter kit on line from http://www.homebrewwest.ie/brewsmarter-premium-starter-beer-kit-x28best-valuex29-844-p.asp

Hopefully I can purchase the ingredients locally after our first batch which we started last night.

Jim

Hi there Jim, I'm just up the road from you in kanturk.
Closest place for supplies is the internet

Hi Jim, I'm a Mallow man myself but living in Lucan for a lot of years now. Good luck with the brew!

No bother, but I won't be putting another beer on for a few weeks. Kinda at capacity just now.
I can always call over to you and help you out with your first brew though :)

I got the train to Cork recently and we stopped at a place called Mála. Sounds like fun, but imark tells me it's not the real Mallow?

One and the same.
