Title: expired yeast
Post by: dcalnan on September 16, 2014, 03:48:22 PM
Just a quick question I bought some white labs hefeweizen 300 back in march, but never got around to using it. And I just noticed the best before date is the 17th of June so its 3 months expired. I bought a new one, but is there anyway to make it viable or should i just dump it.
Thanks.

Make a started and give it a go. Did that in the past and had no problems with fermentation.
