Title: Logging/recording brews online
Post by: onesoma on September 18, 2014, 01:24:22 PM
Does anyone use a free wiki or other online solution to record information on brews - recipes, dates, figures etc?

I was using wikispaces for a short while, but it's terminating the 'free' aspect of it's service  >:(

Would Google Drive be an option?

I'm not quite sure what Wikispaces offer over Google Drive for just logging info? Use a Google Sheet to log your brewing data, use Docs for each recipe.

Aye, could be. Never got in to using Google Docs. Sounds like it could be a good option.

No particular advantages to wikispaces over any other wiki. Wasn't that easy to use anyhow, just the first free one I found.

You could give BrewToad a try. It's a free online app for designing recipes - I'm sure you can enter notes and stuff in there too.

To be honest, I didn't like it, as I found it very buggy, but that was a long time ago and it might have improved.

I use Google docs to store recipes but build them in beer smith.
