Aldis boils 7 litres......nisbits ???? Aldi 3 yr warranty nisbits 1. Aldi 49 nisbits 70 inc vat and ship....no brainer aldi miles ahead
vat&delivery adds €20? :o
61 something plus 7.95 shipping so yes. And 10 litre capacity is most likely the total volume not the boil size. At least aldi clearly quotes boil size which is 2-3 inches from top
Yeah 70 doesn't sound so good. I know someone with a 30 litre buffalo and that's to the brim. Probably same here. I have a 10lt burco and it has head spac to accommodate a ten litre boil..
Kind of academic since they're both a bit small...no?

Mines handy for small batches sparge water and cleaning bottles etc. But I'm only doing max 15lt tho..
Agree mcgrath. Apart from my sparge water heater, decoction vessel, small batch boiler and bottle oxyer its good quality great value and 3 yr warranty
You can't boil wort in these though can you? Do they not have elements that would get coated?
Think aldi and lidl are pretty good at swapping when in warranty. You wouldn't want to have modified it or admit to boiling anything other than water though I reckon.
Need to bypass the simmer switch. Been doin decoction for over a year. No probs good element 900watts does not burn unless the mash is too dry. Caramelises de wort very well
@mark simmer switch is straight foward wire switch. Get electrician if not competant. If ever breaks just reconect. Dont bypass the overheat switch!!!
Great little accessory boiler especially for pilot batches (1gall) and decoctioning

Mine just says don't boil a ham in it..:-)
Sure ham is cooked when you buy the pack anyway
