Recipe looks more like an amber/pale ale. Defining characteristic of a cal common is fermenting with a lager yeast at ale temperatures. Other than the yeast strain, looks fine though. You could up the biscuit malt.

Yeah, using up the leftover ingredients from the year, so all I have at the moment is the ale yeast, otherwise I'd be trying the lager alright. Maybe I should hunt out a lager yeast though, as I have the fermenting fridge to do it justice...

Actually, it's free shipping from Get'Er Brewed, so might just pick up a lager yeast. I can't find WYeast 2112 there though, so a little unsure what to pick instead...

EDIT: Feck it, put in an order to HomeBrewWest for a cider kit and some WLP810 San Francisco Lager Yeast. Roll on delivery and brewday! :)

So this has fermented for 2 weeks now and about to keg (yay) slight issue though, my cider is in the fermentation fridge. I can't cold condition for about two weeks as a result and I'm just wondering if that will have any effect on the beer.
Planning on popping it in at about 4C for a month to condition in the keg.

Hehe its out in the "sunroom" right now. Must get a therometer for in there but I'm guessing it's about 6 C right now. Brrr :)
