I find 50-60g in total is enough for a pale ale. Which ones you use down to personal preference. I'd go with 25g of Citra and 25g of Simcoe myself.

50g of each is a fairly hefty dry hop, but go for it! Use the citra and simcoe, keep the challenger for a nice english ale. You'll probably need to weigh down the hop bag in some way. Sanitised marbles are commonly used.

The coopers apa is an excellent kit.

Limit it to three to five days. Any longer and run the risk of getting grassy flavours.

I'd generally be around irish_goats levels for this kit too.
It doesn't take much to get a good beer out of this kit.
But if you want to go hell for leather, do :)

Thanks for replies, went 20/20g of each. Have also steeped grain and a bit of hops earlier at boil stage so prob plenty of flavors in there.
To batch prime for carbonation how much sugar Will I add , or I'm open to other suggestions.

That depends on how much carbonation you want :)
For American PA it's between 2.2 and 2.8, probably same for Australian.
To carb 23L at 20C to 2.5 you'll need 152g of sugar.

You can also check it -> HERE <- (http://hbd.org/cgi-bin/recipator/recipator/carbonation.html?17269036#tag)

Thanks Jacob.
Link helps a lot.
Is the 2.3-2.8. Scale for how much fizz,  ---2.2. A bit of fizz,   2.8  a good bit of fizz?

Do I dissolve sugar or just tip it in to fv and bottle a bit later?

Exactly. 2.8 would be strong carbonation. Try not to go over 3 to avoid risk of bottle bombs.

+1 to what LordEoin wrote. Doing same with even less water.
