Title: Wort chiller with water charges
Post by: pk on October 02, 2014, 10:49:27 PM
Hi all,
I can't use the garden hose hooked up to the wort chiller now with the water charges (well maybe I can until we have a meter). I read somewhere on here that someone has a submersible pump in a tub of water that just pumps water through the chiller and back into the tub.

Is this what most people do? I was wondering what size container of water would you need? (Might buy a water butt and just keep it in the garage for this purpose)

I have a couple of water butts. Use a small circulating pump and pump water from one butt to another

About 25c per batch, including wastewater (though I know its not the point).
