Here is the link (https://www.thebeerbug.com/main/index.php?id=20000c2a69029c5a) to the beerbug demo we did at the weekend -
I think I have set it up correctly .. first time using it so ..
Only just got it working correctly and registered - so give it a day to get some data.
thats priddy damn cool man
To be honest - I not 100% its calibrated properly - wont know until the next brew.
but the temperature readings should be interesting, I have an STC on the outside of the fermentor set to 20C and the probe for the bug is in the centre - so that should be interesting.
That's pretty darn cool! Looks like you pitched a yeast starter, then? Or is some data missing?
Tom, I pitched another us05 as I wasn't seeing bubbles in the airlock, probably didn't need to, I would nt trust the gravity readings this brew, I only learned how to properly calibrate the thing once the brew was going.
I love data :D Must. Resist. The. Urge.
I see. Well, I'll keep my eyes on the next one then. You'll be reviewing it soon, I presume/hope?
A Review - Absolutely - give it another brew so I know exactly all the pitfalls etc ..
If you can make it sound like something I really don't need, that would be helpful! ;)
Here is batch two on the beer bug - properly calibrated this time.
