Title: Coopers pilsener hack
Post by: gearoid on October 12, 2014, 06:50:07 PM
I'm looking to get a pale pilsener using the Coopers Brewmasters Pilsener and dry hop with Saaz.

Light Spraymalt or Craft LME - would the spray be paler than the LME ?

How much Saaz pellets to use 25g ?
When's best time to add the hops, when it's reached final gravity or a few days before ?

Should I mix the kit yeast with Mangrove Jack's Bohemian Larger or go for 100% Mangrove Jacks ?

I'd stick with the kit yeast.
grab the extra light DME.
Dryhop to taste, 25g sounds good.
I'd probably add a bit or carapils too for head retention.
