Title: Beer Engines; Keg couplers; Line cleaners.
Post by: Jay Dee on October 13, 2014, 03:36:48 PM
Hi Guys,
I have three second hand beer engines for sale.
All 1/4 pint.
New drip trays and sparklers.
Great working condition - replaced all seals.

Unfortunatley, two out of the three porcelain handles have small chips so I've knocked  a tenner off those.

Both Worthsides have water cooling jackets.

The Higene has no water jacket.

The mahogany plinths have been sanded and treated with danish oil.  I used clear varnish on my own and it looks fantastic.  I held off varnishing the ones for sale because varnish is a b**ch to remove.  I would be happy to coat them in clear varnish if sale is agreed.

I'm in Galway.  I would recommend viewing them at mine (Kilcolgan) to make sure you're happy with the deal.

I had my first pint of stout with my own engine at the weekend.  There's no going back now!

I also have two grundy couplers, one u-system (guinness) and a german "slider" couper for sale.  I also have line cleaner which are compatible with sankeys (3) , u-system (1), Grundy (1), and german slider (1).  The couplers are 30 € each.  The line cleaners are 10€.

This website has limited the size of pictures I can upload so i'll have to email the photos to you individually.  There's aa 500kB limit!!!!

Hi Paddy,
Thanks for resizing those.

Re: Emmerdale farm: Please, the next time you're in the agricultural co-op and you're sizing up that green cardigan/body-warmer, think twice!!  Us homebrewers have our image to think of  ;).

Hi Tom,
I could easily pop into galway some time.  If you're not in a rush I can make it into the brewery some time in the next week or so.

Maybe e-mail some times that you'd be on a break and I'll sort something out.  (It won't be today or tomorrow- there's a nice swell out there! :))

Update:
All Beer Engines, SALE AGREED.
