I'm just throwing this thought out there, to see if anyone else agrees or disagrees.
Should there be a seperate BIAB Section to the forum?
Hoping to get into BIAB myself soon but its essentially AG in one pot isnt it?
Yes it is.
One major difference I've found is sparging or the lack of it in BIAB. This simplifies the process and would probably help people step up from kits.
But you can sparge can you not? obviously it would be a bit awkard with the size of the grain bag, speaking of which I presume the bag is reusable
You can if you want but one the one big plus to BIAB is the use of only one vessel instead of three seperate vessels.
I recently did a RIS that involved nearly 11kg of grain - the only problem I had was the size of the vessel and not the bag.
I bought my bag from custombiab, who offer a discount throught this site. I also got a hop boiling bag too from them to use during the boil.
Easy peasy ...
maybe other more experienced BIAB'ers might have more informed opinions?

No need to sparge unless your brewing high gravity which I don't really do. Highest I've done is about 1.07x and no efficiency problems. For normal gravities sparging is just unnecessarily complicating a simple process
what i do is mash for 90 minutes, then remove the the bag and place it on a grill which sits on top of a bowl and let the liquid drain into the bowl underneath, and squeeze the hell out of it for a few minutes, then ill get about a litre of water and pour it over the bag slowly and give it a good squeeze again, i got 84% mash efficiency doing this on friday, this is the best efficiency iv ever got and its mainly due to the long mash time i usually mash for around 60-75 minutes and get 70-75% efficiency, and all the fine crush stuff is garbage, it just causes a mess
and a BIAB section is a great idea as it seems to be gaining in popularity
I've just got all the gear for BIAB. Hopefully do my first one this week. Dedicated section would be nice :)

I don't think there's any need for a specific BIAB section as its already covered by the AG section
All my AG brews so far have been biab but I really don't see the need for a new section. It's just extra clutter. Sure the mash is a bit different but from the boil on its all the same.
BIAB is all-grain brewing, so I don't think we need to put it in a separate area either.
There has been a lot of talk about BIAB here lately. What this place really needs is a step-by-step of someone doing a BIAB brew (with lots of pics). That would answer most peoples questions. I might take a few pics the next time I do BIAB, just don't hold your breath!
