Title: Fermentation fridge/freezer STC1000 hookup
Post by: RichC on October 20, 2014, 08:17:30 PM
Hi,
I recently received a generous donation of a fridge freezer from Lord Stilton.  Id like to keep the freezer section running for hop storage and hook the STC up to control the temp in the fridge part only. Does anyone know are the electrics for the fridge and freezer separate   so that I can control the fridge and leave the freezer permanently on. I'm lazy and I dont want to start tinkering with the electrics unless this is relatively easy. Have any of you guys done this? Alternatively I can just run it form the plug and not use the freezer part.

Thanks

R

I don't think you'll find many fridge/freezers on separate cooling systems.
I just use the freezer bit for storage
