Hope you read the comments aswell. There are ingredients missing off the main list in the article (as David points out in the comments)
Yep it was the easiest way to answer the question. Molc given you will practically find your way to South Dublin blind folded why not come along to our next meet.
Shanna

Have a standing commitment on Thursdays but will pop my head in if I'm free at any stage alright. Black rock to Raheny is a grand trip with the dart.
edit: I actually might be free that night. Will update closer once I get confirmation

3. Molc - RIS, possibly old American amber if any is still left.
Lads, have to change the date of this meet.
It turns out the Dark Horse have a corporate function on that night. There will be 150 in! We weren't cancelled or anything, but it was pointed out that we might be more comfortable picking another date.
I've booked in for the following Thursday, December 4th.
Garry, can you change the date on this thread accordingly when you get a chance? Cheers man.
(I used to have mod privileges on this forum...? Not sure why they were taken away since other club reps have the same privileges in their respective forums. Can an admin comment please? Thanks.)
Have my office XMas Party End of year celebration on the 4th. Not sure if you can or want to change it? If not then have to wait for following one.
Shanna
I'm 50/50 for that date as well. :/
I've no bother changing it. Maybe if some of the other lads chime in we can sort out a date that works for everyone?
I'm free most evenings so I should be along whenever it is.
Would a Friday or Wednesday be unheard of? (Completely understanding Thursday is ideal...!) I'm away 23rd to 27th in Goimany. 28th or the 3rd or 5th Dec look ok.
Any evening works for me really.
Any word on what's happening with this?
Soz lads, took my eye off the ball on this one. How about wednesday 3rd then? Give me a show of hands before i rebook with the DH..

Sounds good, might have to be good that night though ;-)
Shanna
Sure works for me as well. Popping in the calendar

I'm in.
Hi Lads
50/50 on making it the night doesn't make a difference to me
Would be looking to bring the same as Shanna mine is about 15 months old and the flavours seem to be coming through like the first batch I made. I replaced the DME and went with all malt.
It would be interesting to taste both side by side I have brewed this 3 times and each time it has come out very different but time has seemed to close the gap on this and the first batch.
1. Bubbles - probably a Dubbel and an English barleywine
2. Shanna - tsunami Baltic porter
3. Molc - RIS, possibly old American amber if any is still left.
4. David - tsunami Baltic porter and a Belgian style double brown

Hi David
Tried mine last night & it's too early for it as there is very little carbonation & no head :(

Not sure if I'll make it along. My German trip has been postponed twice so that week is the only option. If I can make it I will bring along my SNA AG attempt (only a month too late!) Christmas broon ale in the FV, will not be ready in time :-(
Right lads, Wednesday 3rd has been booked. Please don't make me change it again. :)
I'll be in late, around 10pm.
Change the title of the thread to reflect the new date.
Hi Guys,
It's month end for me in work so I probably won't make it at all. If I finish up at a reasonable enough hour I'll stop buy to talk about the potential sour plan but I'll probably be driving.
German trip got postponed again and school parents "get-together" is on Thursday so looks like ahm in!

5. Dn218 - SNA clone & Honey Hefeweizen
Won't be able to make it again this month unfortunately. Didn't pitch in earlier as travel plans were still uncertain but now I'll definitely be in UK on 3rd. Anyway, have a good session and I'll see you all again in the new year (or maybe last week in Dec as this is actually the postponed Nov meeting?)
Cheers bruce, see you in the new year.
I'm planning on bringing a bottle of the English Barleywine I did last April - a few bottles left over that didn't make it into the barrel. Also have a Christmas ale that even I haven't tried yet. Might bring a bottle of my American Barleywine too, to balance out the hops a bit.

I'll be there. Raiding the shed for sour beers now.
Another one I will miss, my new years resolution is to get down to more!
:(
Oh sours. You get to see my scrunched up what is this face. :p on the train now.
hi lads
got delayed ill be there around 930
Great night lads. Rossas 1945 wood aged stout and Bubbles barleywine were the highlight for me :)
The quality of the beers these days is getting scary.
Rossa's brett porter was one of the most complex and sophisticated beers I've ever tasted. Absolutely outstanding.
Loved Dave's oak aged porter also.
Thanks to molc for taking the trip down to us tonight. Always a welcome guest! :)
