I guess this will be a topic on what the rebel brewers could put forward as kits for Homebrew west. They're looking for an all grain and an extract kit. More info in this post http://www.nationalhomebrewclub.com/forum/index.php/topic,8067.0.html (http://www.nationalhomebrewclub.com/forum/index.php/topic,8067.0.html)
They're also offering free ingredients to develop the recipes with.
And when the final kit is developed we would get 25% off our own kits. So it looks like a good project.
I suggest an IPA because everyone likes them. Being a Cork kit we could go for a red colour. I looked up an Arrogant Bastard clone and adjusted it "slightly" to suit the ingredients being offered on HBW. So here's my suggestion, the "Arrogant Langer".

You aught to be in marketing.
Arrogant Langer, brilliant! :D
Whatever about the recipe, the name is a keeper :)
After thinking about this during the weekend, I can't think of what to nominate as an extract. The obvious styles to me are a stout and a red ale, but having a look at homebrewwest's store they seem to have a few. Then I had an idea of a chocolate milk stout after having a bottle of buried at sea.
Since my trial of beersmith expired I had to use brewtoad. https://www.brewtoad.com/recipes/chocolate-milk-stout-115 (https://www.brewtoad.com/recipes/chocolate-milk-stout-115)
A stout is a good idea alright. Cork is the home of stout afterall :P Your recipe looks tasty :)
I'm putting in an order for homebrewwest soon, and was thinking should I see if they will give me the ingredients for trying out the stout, unless we have any other ideas for recipes?
Ask and you shall receive :) There's no reason why they shouldn't honour it.
That recipe does look quite tasty...keep posted on any updates if this is gonna b produced as an AG kit
Cheers
Been a Kerry man it pains me to say this, but that arrogant Langer looks like a great beer. I would definitely purchase.
