Title: November/December meet
Post by: johnrm on November 10, 2014, 10:53:16 PM
Do we want to start thinking about the next meet? Maybe even the Christmas one? Ho ho ho...

The lv lads are having their xmas party on the 5th (dec) so avoid the fw that night.

I think the only night I'm free in November is the 22nd.

I'm free most weekends in December. I think!

Put down the 5th as well as a possibility, it might be the only date that works for some.
Or are you looking for 2 nights out?

5th is there. I just changed the wording in case it was putting anyone off.

Would like to get to another meet before leaving Cork.  I've voted last week in Nvember or the 12th December - think the dates on the poll should be 12th and 13th December.

Looking like Dec 12th.

Do we set a time and do a list?
When we book tables they are empty up to 9pm.
Unless I arrive early and wait solo for my brews to get warm.

8pm?

I'm going to miss it again - I'm having a run of bad luck with clashing events. Hopefully next month.
But I will be down in the Well tomorrow with the Lee Valley boys.

It looks like the usual suspects anyway!
Let's do a whip around for 'pints for Kate' on the night.

Just kegged my tangerine hefeweizen, it'll be ready for on the night. My first own recipe creation, so it will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Bit cheeky, but does anyone have a pack of T-58 dry yeast I could swap for either US-05 or S-33 on Friday?

A bit late, I posted that there was an order coming from HBC last week.
Maybe get them to pop it in the post, you should have it Friday

I doubt I will be able to make this, as youngest is in hospital. He should be out tomorrow, but don't think timing is great for me to head on a session. I have Jester in my car, and hospital is close to My Happy's house, so will try to connect up with him tonight.

What You think about other two ?
Could be better I think .

Head retention and carbonation could be better ON all 3.
Silver cap seemed like the mash was not long enough, a bit grainy for an IPA.
The other IPA was better.
Let me know whens your next brew day, I might pop along with your yeast.
