Title: Barrel project?
Post by: bigvalen on November 18, 2014, 03:37:47 PM

I missed the last one by a week or so, but I'm dead curious about doing something like this.

I'm also trying to brew enough over time to be able to make beers I can 'set down' for a long period of time. Barrel brewing really excites me.

Anyone interested in proposing a new one ?

John

Well up for taking part. Just need to put a keg aside before I fill it ;)
Already 5 is starting to feel like not enough!

A good way to do a small Project is for 2 people to join up and brew together. Imagine a double brew day. Each brewer keeps their first runnings, combine and you get a full batch of dirty big beer and a session beer. Partygyle brewing. I do it for barley wines once a year and lay them down.
