Title: Hi from Dublin
Post by: Ray_M on November 18, 2014, 11:09:30 PM
Hi everyone,  I have just started home brewing from kits but I am a complete novice.  I have done a couple of pils kits and currently have a coopers Irish stout on the go.  I want to start moving away from the standard kit ingredients and then eventually move on to whole grain.  So all advice will be welcome!

Hi Ray

Welcome to the site. Lots of information on kits on the site. Where in Dublin are you based?

Plenty of clubs in Dublin to get help from, I recommend coming to a club open Brewday, you'll see how easy all grain can be first hand. Depending where you're based check out the different Dublin clubs
Capital Brewers (city centre based)
South Dublin brewers
north County brewers
Liffey Brewers (west Dublin/ Lucan)

Welcome to the forum anyways

Thanks for the welcome.  I am in skerries.  I have been reading a few of the forums and have seen some good recipes.  I will have to make it to one of the open days but it will have to wait until after Christmas.
