Title: Nut for heating element
Post by: Mossy on November 24, 2014, 09:43:33 PM
I bought this heating element:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BPG4LI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - but the shop that sells the nut and O ring that attach it to the keggle wouldn't ship to Ireland. Does anyone know where I might pick up one of these? The usual places like B & Q and Woodies didn't have any.

Cheers

@mossy - try setting up an account with www.shipito.com - its a USA version of parcel motel, shipping globally. I think it's about a tenner to set it up. I've used it several times and the service has been faultless.

I have the same element, nut, and o-ring as well. Can't remember if I chose a vendor that shipped it here or not, but have a look around on amazon as there should be a supplier that will ship direct, but maybe more expensive than the shipito option.

Hope that helps.

Funnily enough I received an email from Amazon the other day offering this element at a reduce price. The price offered was reduced from $40 to $25 but does not include the nut and O ring, if you want these you have to pay the full $40!!!
