Born and raised in Rostrevor and living in Belfast the past 8 years.
I should start by saying I'm new to this and I have my first batch of an Irish red ale extract kit sitting a week in the fermenter.
I actually stumbled upon this forum while looking for videos on YouTube for Brewers in Belfast and I came across one in the Hudson talking about the national homebrew club!
Anyway, glad to have found it and nice to meet you all!
Hi banjobrew and welcome!
We're in the middle of sorting a venue for our monthly meets and there's talk of a brewday in the new year. Keep an eye on the Belfast sub forum (http://www.nationalhomebrewclub.com/forum/index.php/board,15.0.html).
Yes, welcome on board banjobrew. Do you play? Per chance do you bake a bit as well?
Andy
Thanks guys. Yeah I'd really be interested in going to the meets. The awkward new guy until someone else joins!
Yeah I play a little, not serious. As for the baking, no I've never baked more than fifteens and that can hardly be called baking... I make a good stew on the other hand. Handy on these wintry evenings!

Thanks for reminding me Chris. At this early stage it would appear that 'Spoons have the same returning-your-calls-promptly policy as the Hudson :-\
Aye, and welcome to the forum Banjobrew!
