So i mentioned before i might try see if there was interest in a Northside brewers club but it might be better to incorporate the capital brewers in this one (not that anyone would ever not be welcome ;))
Venue: The Back Page, 199 phibsborough road
Time: 7pm
Bring: 1L of homebrew
Bring homebrew and as always try to buy a good few drinks from the hosts.
Id advise only bringing 1 beer each (1L) for the meeting as its our first time there
1. DCBrewing
Can't make it this month as I have a standing Wed/Thursday thing that I have to make for a few weeks. Really want to potter to the February one though, as the location is grand to get too.
I can't make it this time again. I'm just about to set off travelling for the next three weeks with work. I'll be back in Dublin for February though so will hopefully see you then.

2. Fionn
Crap I'm going up to Belfast for 4 weeks for work 2 days before this. Hopefully I can catch the February meet up!
Hi All,
Will do my best to make it, work depending.
No chance you could have this on the Tuesday 13th? I'm stuck on Wednesdays.
That would clash with north county brewers, though any other Tuesday of the month would work better for me as well.
I might have some filling remover turbo cider to bring

3. Beerfly
Yes this will go ahead on Wednesday. We can have another one next month for those that cant make it and of course the regular capital meet up. January is always a good month for homebrew.
The more the merrier ... :P

We are upstairs.
A big thanks to DC Brewing for organising the meetup last night !!!
I'd heard of 3 Floyds Brewing Co,. but 3 Pauls - that's just ridiculous ;D
Highlight of the evening for me was the Zombie Dust clone, a very clean and drinkable beer, and a good balance of malt and hops. A little more bitterness on the finish would have been ideal, but that's just my taste. Really enjoyed Fionn's cider, sweet and delicious - made with proper apples too - lovely!
If anyone wanted more info on my yeast comparsion experiment with the California Common I'll be adding in the final update this weekend (my explanation on the night was completely pants :)) - http://www.nationalhomebrewclub.com/wordpress/brewwiki/comparison-top-and-bottom-fermenting-yeast/
Yup it was a great night, nice spot in the back page. Really enjoyed the California Common, I reckon I'll give it a go at some stage. Nelson the elder was tasting great also.
I see some black IPAs on the horizon too after the oh yeah! at the weekend and now thornbridge wild raven ^-^
Fionns Raison Saison was the most interesting beer for me!
