I have some of this lying about from a bygone era. Do you reckon it's ok to use for priming?

it'll be fine

more on brew enhancer can be found here: http://www.nationalhomebrewclub.com/forum/index.php/topic,681.0.html (http://www.nationalhomebrewclub.com/forum/index.php/topic,681.0.html)
Coopers' Brew Enhancer 1 = 60% dextrose, 40% maltodextrin
Coopers' Brew Enhancer 2 = 50% dextrose, 25% maltodextrin, 25% light dry malt

maltodextrin is not fermentable, so you'll need to adjust the quantities to get your desired carbonation level.
I suppose an extra third
