Title: Windows Security Question
Post by: Will_D on January 10, 2015, 12:53:30 PM
Hi Guys

Wonder if one of our IT people can help.

MS Security essentialsd is detecting  a bit of dodgy software in a MoviesApp directory.

When I tell it to remove it it comes back with an error !

If I try to delete the directory it says I need admin permission to remove it.

BUT my user is Admin!

not automatically.
you can run it for scans etc but it won't provide realtime protection.

Well I can't:

"Two Auto-syphons for Sister Sara"

"The harder you screw the less it leaks"

"The Kegerator parts 1..4"

"Mash  - The true story behind the illustrious North Counter Brewers Emergency Service (dial 4077 and ask for Will)"

Actually my late night channels have not caused any problems. All I was trying to do was to download a version of Visual Basic 6!

Sad I know - but when you are Welsh ....

Who is just back from the club after watching S4C's  rugby club channel !!
