Title: Just jumped in at the deep end
Post by: NeillC on January 10, 2015, 02:41:16 PM
Hi from a new home brewer in Coleraine. Before Christmas I did my first ever home brew. Started with a small biab batch of a very simple smash recipe. It was more a wee practice run than anything amazing. Still, I've ended up with something I can drink, even if it did end up about 2%. It was only a 5l batch so nothing lost.

I've now a decent sized kettle and a good recipe to try so getting ready for another brew day.

Exactly. Feeling more confident in the process now.

I've been having a read here for a while. Definitely some good info.  I'll probably have questions when it comes to my next brew.
