How much for larder fridge? Is it bored for taps?
Title: Re: Homebrew Kit For Sale
Post by: TheCavanMan on January 20, 2015, 04:08:12 PM
No, not bored for taps. I was using it for fermenting.

I comes with the 60w Heater and STC-1000.

I'm open to offers, what you think it worth.

Was really hoping to sell it with heater and STC-1000. heater is pretty useless on its own, and STC-1000 most people who would need one already have it.

Fair enough I don't want the bag really, was only gonna use it as a HLT so I'll let someone else get it.

Am interested in the fridge but wonder where your based? I am in South Dublin but don't have a means of collecting it.
Have a stc 1000 already so would not need it. Wonder have you by passed the fridges thermostat?

Will offer €100 for the fridge but would have to figure something out 're collection.

I haven't bypassed the fridge thermostat. Whenabouts in South Dublin are you based. I could deliver it as I work in Dublin 3 days a week in Leopardstown.

Are you offering €100 for the fridge alone, not stc or heater.

Grand CavanMan. I'll buy

2. PECO Boiler with Thermostat (Used Once)
    Custom BIAB (Fits Prefectly)
    €60.00

for €60. It's my birthday next week, and the kids don't know what to buy. They do now  ;D

But sorry to hear about your back. Is this why you're giving brewing up?

It is. I'll be on medication for the next 6 months or so and even then I won't be consuming as much beer as I would like to.

I will be working in Dublin on Friday so I can deliver what needs delivering then

Shanna I accepted Vermelho offer via PM. They offer full price for the fridge and are also buying the fermenters.

We still hadn't confirmed a deal between us.

Vermelho do we still have a deal. Or will I proceed with Shanna

Deals I believe should be made on the thread rather than Pm. I would up my offer if you rejected it but Vermelho coming in after me never gave me that chance as I never got the right of reply. I appreciate you deserve to get the best price but I don't want to be gazumped.

I don't need the fermenters as I have loads if them but would up my offer to €125 for the fridge & heater (sell the Stc separately as I don't need it).

Let me know what you decide, either way I respect your decision.

Just a reminder to anyone buying a larder fridge in the event that due to its height it may need to be transported on its side, you need to let it rest vertically overnight before powering up as the lubricant is carried around the refrigerant circuit combined with the refrigerant gas/ liquid and you could end up running the compressor dry and damaging it otherwise.

Whenever you are back up and about I would be interested in a few of your swing top bottles.

Just want to check what the price for 40 is?  Not in any major rush.  Work near leopardstown so could pick them up there if and when you are in the area again.

Cheers
