Where are the bars? Address list would be good as it sounds like a good offer
www.wallacewinebars.ie, all bars except Alba, they're in Wexford without the craft beer.
Balls, some of those beers sound great and Alba is 5 minutes up the road. Do the seller beer in there at all?
Alba is not part of the wallacewinebar team anymore, we sold on the license to Angelo the manager, he's supposed to take the sign down soon.
Haven't noticed if it's down or not. Might try and get to a shop in Dublin when I'm there soon. Forza youths 😜
Forza youths.
That's fair enough - left wing politics, like adventurous beer, are not to everyone's taste.
Good stuff. 30% is a decent discount.
Pulling my list together, Fyodor :)
Is the 30% discount on top of the 25% discount on take-out?
Sorry Imark, it's just 30% overall, but the 25% discount in place is supposed to only be on 6 bottles or more, the new discount applies even if ye buy 1 or 2.
We don't have a big markup on the Italian beers anyway, they don't have tax incentives in Italy like we have here, the smallest craft brewer in Italy pays the same taxes as Peroni or Becks, the resulting beer is accordingly very expensive to import, especially when you add our duty and transport costs. For example, BB9 BB10 and BBEVO from Barley are all over 10 euro to us at cost price, then we have to pay the vat... we sell them for 22.
Was worth a go but I suspected it was a bit cheeky.
I'll probably pick up a few bottles over the weekend.
