Title: Hello from Offaly
Post by: Adam on January 30, 2015, 06:47:44 PM
Hello all,
I just found this forum the other day and have been going through it looking at all the great advice and recipes, so decided to join.
I've been making wine since I was a kid and only took up beer brewing last summer but have loved every minute of it and am very proud of my results.
I've mostly been doing all grain mash kits from a great supplier here in the midlands but am looking forward to working up a few of my own recipes over the coming year now that I'm getting a feel for the different malts and hops.
I look forward to getting to know everyone here

Welcome  Adam. The National homebrew competition is on starting in Galway and finishing in Dublin. Why not enter some of your beers. :)

That's something I'd definitely like to do once Iv come up with a recipe of my own that works well.
Planning on bottling a HBC Irish Dry Stout in the morning and starting an AG Extra Special Bitter, after that I'm going to have a go at working out a recipe for myself.
