Description
The intern will gain practical experience in the manufacturing side of the craft brewing industry in Ireland, along with insights into the operation and development of a small business in a growing market. The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following: the brewing process from both a manufacturing and scientific perspective; production stock management and planning, beer dispense technology and maintenance. On completion the intern will have attained skills in the operation of a craft brewery.
Skills Requirements
No particular skills in the brewing industry are needed, but a genuine interest in beer and the brewing industry is essential. Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are key. The right application will need to feel comfortable working in a fast-paced and diverse environment. Full driving licence desirable. Working in a brewery can be strenuous and tiring, so a willingness to work in a manufacturing environment is imporatnt.
Please Note:
This is an Internship. An allowance of €50 per week will be paid in addition to your current Social Welfare payment.See eligibility criteria above.
