Title: Hop back
Post by: jawalemon on February 12, 2015, 08:24:07 PM
I was thinking of making a hopback as most of the brews i do are quite hoppy but i'm not getting the desired aromas from the hops. This is the sort of one i wast thinking of building

From what I've read people use a hopback before the wort gets chilled but i don't have a pump and plate chiller so i was going to run it through the hop back and then in to a freshly Starsan'd FV with foam so there should be very little chance of infection. Am i mad or could it work?
