Title: I got my brew shoes on....
Post by: Roo on February 13, 2015, 02:41:23 PM
Just putting it out there. I had a very stress free brew day yesterday in the garage since I restructured the layout. Put on a 5AM Saint Clone and doubled up my yeast pitch. She's bubbling like a mad thing today. Really need to try Timothy Taylor's best Bitter if anyone could post a recipe that they did just recently. If you know what I mean.

Nice one Ruairi.

Nothing beats a satisfying brew! It's up there with a splendid toilet visit.

What recipe did you use for 5am Saint?

Went for this Bazza.

Stuck to it apart from initial 16g of Nelson was upped to 18g just to bring the IBUs up a notch. Only starting to get the hang of Beersmith intricacies and my own setup profile. It's a right eye opener.

Ciaran got the message but there's no photo. Probably should buy Wheelers book. Theres other more pressing things my cash should go on tho.

Here is the recipe for the  TT Best Bitter which I brought along to the last meet...easy on the hops!
