Post by: Martin on February 26, 2015, 10:19:22 PM
Hey guys,

need your professional opinion again:

What would be the right crystal grain ebc for that particular recipe? As always, many thanks in advance!

Hi, the colour says "Golden" I'd imagine the Australian pale ale is already that colour so a light crystal will keep it close to that. Depends on how fussy you are about the colour. I wouldn't go any higher than 80ebc though. If you do it won't ruin the beer, but maybe start looking more like an amber and add more flavour.

+1 to that.

Looks like a good recipe - needs more hops though...  ;) ;)
