Title: Copper....I think I got a good deal

Considering I priced the copper in another hardware yesterday I just said I'd get another quote.
Priced  7mtrs (to be on safe side) 10mm €16 as opposed to 30. Bit the fellas arm off incase it was an error. Went out with my docket to collect and the fella in the yard got a coil and proceed to measure out 1mtr then 2 then started giving out about the way it was coiled and reckoned there was 8 mtrs, I reckoned more. Anyway he gave up and gave me the coil. Turns out there was 10 1/2 mtrs.
10.5 for €16 not bad me thinks :)

Same thing happened to me in wexford.  went out with my docket to the yard. Fella couldn't find a hacksaw so said "I don't cut copper on a Friday evening", gave me about 8 meters when I had paid for four.
