Hi All,
I'm hoping that someone can put this gear to good use, I just don't have the time for it anymore with work, family etc.
- 70/30 Mixed gas tank, full (turned on once to check system for leaks)
- mixed gas regulator
- Co2 regulator (bought from US, may need adapter, never used it)
- insulated tubing (loads of different sizes)
- Many assorted JG fittings
- 3 x Corni kegs (pinlock)
- Pipe cutter
- pin lock gas in connection
- Miller tap
- Caladonian smooth tap
sell the lot for E180, if no offers I'll sell individually.
thanks,
Kevin
Is the Caledonia tap for stout? I'd be interested in the stout setup if so (mixed gas, mixed reg and stout tap). That is if you're splitting.
Just to note on the U.S. reg. I bought a tap rite one from America and it has a differnt nut for attaching to Irish co2. This was easily rectified and thanks to Ciderhead and AJ edge I got a new nut for free when I bought the gas. So easily fixed.
Paul
Where are you based? I'd be interested in the lot
If Delzep doesn't take it Id also be interested in the lot.
Next in line if the others don't want. I'll take the lot!

That's a fantastic offer, I have a similar set up, pints of Homebrew on tap is a special thing ;)
Damn all of you with your whole offers!
Whoever takes this lot - Id be happy to swap you ball lock cornies for these pin lock ones.
Cheers
Thanks for your interest lads, sold to 'arse biscuits' on beoir. Mods please lock up
Although I wish I could've gotten the nitro kit I'm glad it went to arsebiscuits, great name
For fuck sake what's the point in having rules on here
Quote1. When selling, all dealing to be done on thread. Please be clear about the state of sale here and declare if it's for sale elsewhere for clarity
It was for sale on beoir also.
No mention of that in the ad
Hard luck Delzep, you offered in 41 minutes of post but apparently not quick enough :o :(
It's a bit unfair. I was 2nd bid recently, received a pm from seller, double checked with 1st, and missed the sale. There's etiquette in these things...

And then you gave the man who took it from you a medal!
If it's for sale elsewhere what difference does it make?! If you know it's for sale on beoir would you put in an offer there over here or what's the story? Genuine question lads, can't see the problem here.
Rule no. 1 '...declare if it's for sale elsewhere for clarity.'

Why though?
So that issues like this don't arise?
Someone lost out on a bargain cause they didn't check two sites?!?! I can't see the issue here. If the op posted that the items were for sale on a number of sites would that persuade/dissuade someone making an offer?!
(I don't mean to pick on this sale, unfortunately it raises a valid point.)
This is a small community where honor plays a big part.
There is a core bunch who bend over backwards to help someone out, delivering, storing, group buys, answering questions etc.
I could sway competitions I judge in but I don't, again, honor. The people that organise these and give their time voluntarily are honorable and trustworthy.
I mentioned rule number 1.
I also mentioned etiquette.
Simple, common sense stuff like this makes this place work.
No more then adverts or the like... "It's for sale elsewhere so ad can be removed at any time" SIMPLE

Why though?
Because you're getting a service from the site when you decide to sell and the least you can do is follow the rules.
Maybe we should charge for the service...
This is a strange one ???
Has anyone looked at the timing here?
The kit was first listed on Beoir in Feb, listed here on the 24 March.
Delzep offers on the day.
Arse...Biscuits joins here on the 24th, joins Beoir same day and gets it on first post :o
There is no point in dissecting this any further.
There are rules for sale to make the process as fair as possible for all parties.
Please comply with these and there should be no issue going forward.
I suggest this thread is locked as the item is now sold.
Apologies lads, I should've read that rule. I only stuck it here as I couldn't seem to move it on beoir. I should've put it on here first, as you are a great bunch and have answered many of my questions,
Regards,
Kevin
Thanks for the update Kevin.

Ah right yeah it's all grand isn't it
Yeah I'm pissed off cos it was a good deal that I didn't get, but if it's brushed under the carpet as you suggest then what's the point in having rules in this section? No sign of any mods or admin comments is a bit alarming

I know if I was having someone around to my place to collect stuff, I'd pick the guy people can vouch for over a new member I don't know called "arse biscuit".Sorry AB, I'm sure your cool :)
I'm not convinced its that good a deal tbh. If you can source cheap pinlock disconnects maybe, but I can't and that would put me off.
Hi lads, I bought the gear. I saw the ad on Beoir and jumped at it, it was up a few weeks and people were just giving ridiculous offers, I gladly paid the asking price.
Nothing strange going on, I used to brew and I'm just getting back into it so need some gear, and I just came across this website last week. I used to post on the brewing section on Boards.ie years ago under the same name.
Anyway, just thought I'd help to clear things up.
I'm hoping to meet up with the Capital Brewers soon.
All the best..
Colin.
