I have about 7kg crushed rye ale malt from the recent GB and i have never brewed with this before,it being crushed i would like to use it up asap,unless it will keep ? I would like to use it over a couple brews if possible but like i said no idea how to use this,i have other base grains here as well from the GB and some MJ and Gervin yeast,suggestions appreciated. ;D

Cheers for that sham ;D Is the acid malt absolutely necessary as that i do not have but have all the rest ? How did they turn out for you and what hop schedule would you suggest ? ;D
You don't really need the acid malt.. I was really happy with this beer..
Rye gives perceived dryness in a beer, spicy ness and texture. It can work great in session pale ales, IPAs and red ales.
If you are using a standard mash tun, you need to take precautions with rye when you start to take the % up. 40% is a danger threshold for rye in a mash tun. BIABers can take it higher with less issues. I have personally done a rye beer that was 55% pale rye with no problems.
Rye beers really sing with us hops.
No experience myself, but rye often features in porters too.

As we all do i am planning next few brews ahead of time,i have a couple i need to get out of the way first but then i want to make use of this Rye Ale Malt as it is crushed.I have only ever seen recipes with small % Rye on them before and i was wondering what kind of beer could i brew if say i used 50% Rye or above(maybe 100% Rye ?). ? ;D
100% rye would be glue. Your mash will stick or your run off will be very compromised and you won't hit your numbers.
60% is about the threshold for a roggenbeer, but yeah, 50% rye can make for very interesting beer. Rye IPA is a thing you know.
You might be able to get your hands on beaver town 8 ball, their rye IPA, and they use a lot if rye.
One thing I have never done is use rye in a Belgian or a saison. Rye spice may complement the phenolics. It may end up being too dry, but I would hedge on it being a good beer.
Rice or oat husks are a good idea if you're using a lot of rye as well.

Fruity hops tend to work best with the spicyness of the rye. Aussie and NZ hops in particular would be good.
I'm doing a session Rye citra pale ale with a load of left over grains over the weekend. Looking forward to it now!
