Title: Proper Job
Post by: Bazza on April 05, 2015, 12:41:49 PM
Couldn't believe my eyes the other day in Newtownbreda Tesco. Bottles of St. Austell's Proper Job for 1-fecking-fifty! First time Ive seen this stuff outside of Cornwall. Great little IPA at an amazing price.

Imagine my surprise when I saw it last night in the backwater town of Ballymena.

It's getting around. I think it has gone through a permanent price reduction too.

Tescos own Revisionist Rye @ £1.25 is so hard to walk past. Fantastic beer for the money.

Aye. Picked up a rye, California Common and Saison from that range. All pretty good. The Saison was made by Marstons. Don't know who made the others. Great value.

I see they've also started doing bottles of TT Boltmaker. It's great stuff!

Proper Job is a favorite of mine, and I too found some in Ballymena Tesco.
Been buying rather than brewing too much of late. I feel a brew day coming on soon...
