Made a couple of ales using CaraMunich III. The first one, American Amber, fermented a bit too high and tasted off. Figured it was due to the fermentation. Brewed another beer that was MO and CM3 and tasted before sending to secondary. This one was definitely at the right temp. Again same off flavour. Hard to describe but its not a pleasant flavour
I was using it as a replacement in recipes for 60L based on this sub chart http://www.brew.is/files/malt.html
