I've been doing research on water and purchased a nice shiny gram scales and all the relavent water treatment bits and bobs.
Lots and lookin around and the interweb and I stumbled onto this document of water profiles for different city's.
Might be a handy resource for anyone seriously into their water.

Nigel might i ask did you purchase any water test kits and if so which ones ? ;D
No I decided to go RO and build water profiles to what I want. Will probably end up using my standard water for most of my recipes but water chemistry is something I'd really like to get my head around.

Twas 120 from Celtic water solutions. It's a 10 liter tank and takes about an hour to fill so a bit of forward planning is all that's needed
