Myself and CH had the pleasure of tasting this last Thursday,it was my first saison and first cask beer in one. What can i say only WOW,goes down real smooth and at 6.5%abv could be dangerous, but what a beer,i cant describe it as i have nothing to compare it to but the nose was very reminiscent of Frankisaner witbier, the duilisc was noticeable but not overpowering and overall a very very refreshing pint, well worth €4 for 500ml. ;D
Have to say €4 for a 500ml bottle is an absolute rip off. Some of these brewery's need a reality check, they can't keep charging these ridiculous prices.
I was of the same opinion until that Thursday in question when CH spelled it out for me where all the costs involved came from and tbh at least 50% of that €4 is going to distributors and the Government, taking overheads into account the brewery are lucky to make €1.50 or less off that €4 bottle. ;D
€4 is not bad for a decent beer, especially at 6.5%

After talking to CH i would agree, however we did conclude that if it got up around €5 for 500ml then that would be too much, unless of course it was something special like an RIS. ;D
it was in the well for easterfest. I'm sure places like bradleys would have bottles

Ah yes i must say ten Hail Mary's for not endowing him with his proper title "The Great And Wonderful Ciderhead" ;D
I posted in the For Sale section where you can get this in Dungarvan currently.I don't know a saison from a hole in the ground and ye all know my view on beer pricing so if i reckon that at €4/500ml this beer is worth it ;)
I would love to see some more reviews on this beer in the near future,if any of ye want to say a few words on it stick it in on this post please.Currently i think this Saison is by far the best beer that this brewery have in production and well timed coming into the Summer,i have been disappointed by some of the offerings from this brewery so far this year in comparison to the same beers from last year's line up,however this Seaweed Saison has restored my faith in them somewhat, let's hope their future solo brews are as good. ;D
Currently the only off licence in Dungarvan selling this delicious Saison,€3.99/500ml, very refreshing beverage but at 6.5%abv be careful.

There's no need to have this in the for sale section too. I've merged both topics.

It's a very nice beer. I got a bottle on my way home from Kenny's in Lucan on Tuesday iirc. I think I paid €3.65.
Just called into Kenny's and its all gone :(. Got some other beers though to keep me entertained. :)
must seek this one out
