Title: 2 kits one bucket.
Post by: nigel_c on April 15, 2015, 07:28:05 PM
I've a couple of wine kits and am looking to make a really nice batch. I'm thinking of using 2 kits and in one batch. Anyone do this method? Would I need to add any sugar still or is the juice enough?

I think as just mentioned in another post work towards a target OG.

Dilute one can with half the water (say 10 litres) and check its OG. Then calculate how much sugar to disolve in the rest of the water.

Then add sugarered water and second can and you should hit 23L at target gravity!

A big Red should be about 1.095
