Title: 4 lagers in 3 days
Post by: Pheeel on April 30, 2015, 11:50:40 PM
Figured if my fridge was going to be used up for a couple of months I may as well do a load of lagers. In three days I made 4 lagers. One Baltic chocolate porter, a dark Mexican lager, Amber hopped lager and a standard lager
I'm knackered!!

Is that a horizontal LCD thermometer on top left?
What's your air temp then?

Are you keeping check of air temp? Normally these are stuck on where the wort is.

I think you're missing the point of his questions/comments.

It's on the bucket, but it's above the liquid level, therefore it's measuring the air temperature, not the wort temperature.  You mounted the sticker horizontally but you should have mounted it vertically OR at the bottom of the bucket so it measures liquid temp vs. air / bucket temp.

Here's the emoticon you need:  :-[
