How have people found GEB AG Kits?
I have not seen any reviews or write ups on them.
Well, I got one free with my grainfather (Belgian Witt).
Apart from busy rugby club schedule, and I am in process of insulating said GF. Then I will GF the GB WB Kit!

I did the Hoppy APA as my first Grainfather Brew, which came free with the grainfather.
I liked the way the hop pellets came in "hop tea bags", nice and tidy.
It was nicely packaged too.
Its nearly finished fermenting so I'll report back soon.
I got the hoppy apa kit with the biab starter kit last year. Twas drinkable but wasnt very impressed with it. very pale and not very hoppy, got a few tastes like hoegarden comments from friends who wouldnt be into 'strange beers'. Brewed it close enough to the instructions as far as i remember except i used a mash tun instead of biab

You posted as i was typing fishjam. Didnt know they changed to hop pellet teabags. might change the end result so ignore my last comment as it was an earlier version of the APA kit

There were a few kits raffled but no reviews, I have ordered some kits so will post my experience here somewhere.
Yeah I think they raffled a few before but people didn't put up their reviews, which is a bit annoying. I'm still enjoying my extract creamy stout from it though. Took a little longer to condition than some beers but it's finally gotten there and has a nice balance.

How long is your cream stout conditioning molc? I drank some quite early and it was ok, had a bottle over the weekend and it was great. I brewed mine in February.
There are enough threads covering the process.
What I am interested in the quality of ingredients and resulting beer.
The same applies to kits from other HBS, particularly for their 'House beers'.

About the same timeline here as well. It was a really pleasant surprise last weekend. I put the keg back on instead of my dry stout for a while and it was a lovely contrast.

Herself really likes the hbc dunkelweizen all grain kit. The one thing I'd like homebrew shops to provide is a choice of yeast with these kits if possible (with extra cost for liquid yeasts of course) instead of being forced to use whatever yeast they supply
