We are announcing Garden County Brewers upcoming 'Lawnmower Beer' competition which will take place on the 7th of June. For this competition we want you to brew your best lower ABV summer beer that can be enjoyed in the sun, with or without your lawnmower!

This will be a BJCP judged competition and you can enter any of the beer styles listed below. The only additional rule is that you should aim to have your beer at 4.5% ABV or below - you may get marked down if the judges detect your beer as being overly boozy!

The competition will be held in the Harbour Bar in Bray, beginning at 12:00AM (first judging session around 12:30). Entry price is €10 for your first entry and €5 for any additional entries you make. Limited to 3 entries per person. To make things a bit simpler for us, the competition is only open to entrants from the island of Ireland. We will provide information on prizes and the entry website soon.

So get brewing and pass the word around (as we haven't left you much time!) Any judges and helpers are welcome on the day!
