Lads,
Anybody know where I can buy a bottle of mead in Dublin?
Thanks!

I think you can buy Bunratty mead in the Celtic Whiskey Shop on Dawson St, but I've heard it's a bit ropey. Never tasted it myself.

Mead is not a drink that's widely consumed here.

I made a great mead which was a mix of Malkores and Jims ancient orange mead.

It was really good, it's a shame that I keep really bad notes....

I think I have a recipe on HBT somewhere.

At two years it was really really good, it takes time.

I've never had commercial mead.

Thanks lads,
I just wanted to try any Irish/UK crafted quality mead.

Try to source some Lindisfarne mead. It's from a UK monastery.

I tried a Lindisfarne 'mead' about a year ago. Cheap grape wine with the tiniest hint of artificial honey or sugar.

I got a bottle of mead delivered in my beer52 this month, I've never tried it before. The second picture has a website you could try.
