Well Bottled up another brew yesterday the Craft Range Blonde Lager, hope it turns out nice and sessionable.
After cleaninig up and during my tidy up I figured I better check what I have about. I'm only brewing since February this year
but each time I buy ingredients I always add a couple extra bits to the basket.

So I'm looking for some hints, tips, recipes any thing to use up some of what i came across in my big brew box.

Heres what I found

Canadian Blonde
Coopers Real Ale

Simcoe Pellets 130g
2x Summit 20g Pellet Tea Bags
Williametter Pellets  20/30g

Caramunich Type 3 (Whole)
Chateau Crystal Malt 300/400g
Carapils 700g (crushed)
Crystal Malt 1kg (crushed)

Cooper Malt Light LME  1.5kg
Craft Range Malt Light LMe 1.5kg
Coopers BE2  1kg

Light Spray malt 2kg

2x Workhorse M-10 yeast
2x S-05  Yeast

any suggestions appreciated, preferable without having to buy anything else in

thanks in advance

Coopers Real Ale
1x Summit 20g Pellet Tea Bags
Williametter Pellets  20/30g
Crystal Malt 250g
Light Spray malt 1kg
1x S-05  Yeast

to 20L

That should be a nice beer

Garry

Canadian Blonde
Coopers Real Ale
Coopers BE2  1kg (this has dextrose in it so will lighten the body a bit)

250g Carapils

130g Simcoe hop tea (Boil a kettle of water, drop the hops in and let steep for 15 - 20min. Add this to the FV)

Brew to 23L

Pitch both packs of US05 and ferment at 19°C.

You should get a good american IPA:

OG ~ 1.065 - 1.070
IBU ~ 50 - 55

LordEoin

or you could do your first extract brew if you can get your hands on a boiler :)

RobShamrock

that American IPA idea is very tempting, what abv would I get with that ?

I'll be killed if I move into extract, I've already got bits lying everywhere, and bottles !!

Garry

I'd say you'd get 6.5% - 6.8% ABV. It'll put hair on your chest!

Chap over on jimsbeerkit seems top have had great success emulating Punk using:
1 x Coopers Canadian Blonde
1.5kg of LME
Hop tea (40g Ahtanum, 30g Simcoe, 30g Amarillo, 20g Chinook, 15g Cascade)
Safale US-05
Brewed to 20L
OG - 1048

You could do something similar? I'm planning to do it at some stage later this year.

Thanks guys some great suggestions to decide from

RobShamrock

Put this on last night  -  Coopers Real Ale
1x Summit 20g Pellet Tea Bags
Williametter Pellets  20/30g
Crystal Malt 250g
Light Spray malt 1kg
1x S-05  Yeast

Did a 5 minute boil of the williamette hops in the after the grain steep,   will add the summit as dry hop few days before bottling.
OG some in about .045   any clues as to how low the US-05 will go down, not used that yeast before

You'll probably end up somewhere around 1.008 i think

RobShamrock

Just starting to sample this brew its come out mighty fine. Only just over two weeks in bottle and already very nice

LordEoin

good stuff. it should be a cracker in a few weeks so :)

Thanks for the suggestions. I've 24 of them stashed in my parents garage will leave them there for another month as long as I don't run out in house
