Hey all, I'm looking to pick up a small 9L corny keg for parties and what not, I know MBW do a 10L for €79 but was hoping to pick up one a little cheaper than that

Any help is much appreciated!

I got some from my beer and wine and live them. Super shiny and perfect to beer on the go. Little privy but a nice investment in my oppenion.

DEMPSEY

I found 2 dumped outside Heuston Station once when they were doing a rebuild but I stupidly asked could i take them. Manager said no and took them off the pile of rubble and such. Rule number 1 when spotted as dumped, don,t ask ;)

I figure €68 for two delivered is a good price, maybe too good to be true  :-\

Pin locks :(
I think there is a kit to convert, I don't like pin locks as lids have no vent to burp co2, there is a way around that just can't remember how.

Acott

yeah they are pin lock and all my stuff is ball lock  :( , bit of a nuisance but I read that you can release pressure by pressing down on the post.

Might look at converting them to ball lock in the future

Here's a kit I was going to get before

Might help if I include the link.

How are you dispensing? Do you have separate gas/regulator?

Cheers Ed, the lid might be big help, but the cost of these kegs are ramping up with these little extras..think I'll go with a screw driver and press on the post for the time being.
