I just came across this on youtube and it has me wanting to try it.

Can it be got in off licences here?
I would imagine its bland  but may never know unless I taste it.

So, mixed gas is so like yesterday!

Where can we buy liquid Nitrogen?
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

A Guinness rep gave one to a barman friend of mine who then passed it onto me about 6 months ago and twas bland as shite. No hop flavour at all at all. The Nitro didn't just round them out, they just weren't there. I'm assuming they've been tweaking it since on their wonderful new hopping machine...  :-\  We'll see sure... It'd make an interesting brew if they get it right

This is what always disappoints me about Diageo, you look at the video and they talk a good talk and you want to taste that and then you do :(. Who makes the decision on what goes into the final beer, doubt its the brewers :o.

Plain and bland sells buckets loads.  Thats the fact of the matter.

There must be someone running around the brew house with a pellet gun though.

The need for safety glasses in a promo vid shows how industrialised they are about everything.

DEMPSEY

Ha Haa a pellet gun would explain the glasses :D

Diago beginning to realise the upward march of much much better offerings from small scale Brewers than they could ever hope to make in their industrialised world.
Nice to see more pubs going the route of good beer, which in the years ahead should only get stronger.
Saying that, I do still enjoy a pint of Guinness from time to time...... stick to what they are good at.
Tried their hophouse13 last night ..... not impressed I'm afraid.

Don't confuse Diageo's offering with bad brewing or an inability to make great beer. If the mainstream market changes they're quite capable of following it, something their new "craft" presence with St. James gate is proving.

Had the nitro ipa on tap in the US. Didn't really appeal. In a funny way it reminded me of cask ale, if colder and if looked at that way it wasn't too bad.

I had this in the Open Gate, its a poor beer by any standards.

For me, it tastes like a bog standard English cask IPA. Really uninspiring and boring just.
