Ardbir shut down

Just saw a post on Facebook there from the Ardbir page saying they're shutting down. The current code will remain available but the grainfather code won't be released. I was under the impression this worked perfectly with grainfather already?

That's a real shame. I just started learning to program arduino a few months ago with a mind to get a ardbir.

i think its just the opensource bit that is winding down, I suspect some may go commercial.
