Hello, was wondering if someone could please advise....I have a fridge, heating lamp and Inkbird thermostat - http://tinyurl.com/hvyupjg I'd rather not put the sensor into the FV so was wondering if I should increase the cut of temp by a degree or would the temp inside the FV be the same as outside/inside the fridge?Hope that makes sense.

Temperature difference inside and outside the fermenter changes throughout the fermentation.  I've seen it differ by as much as 3-4c at times, so I got a thermowell in the fermenter and use that.
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

+1 on the thermowell. Having your probe inside your fermenter will give you the best results.  Fermentation temperature control is an extremely important  step.
