NHC Awards

Another thread got me thinking. We should do awards on the forum. Nothing special, more of a recognition of a contribution.

Like how about Epic Group Buyer of the Year?  It would be something to not only recognise the huge effort someone has put in, but it would also generate a bit of a buzz, and a bit of good will. We really don't want people's efforts to go unnoticed.

What about if we'll pick few categories + also try to summarize NHC activities/things that we achieved in 2012 and organize NHC meetup in B&C in January to celebrate it?
We could hand awards to the winner then (if they will be present) ...

Ok, here are a few awards that I can think of:

Best Group Buyer
Best Wiki Article
Best Community Organiser
Best Member Called Shane
Best All Round Top Bloke
Non-member Legend of NHC

I'd propose that we have a simple nomination thread, and whoever gets seconded the most before Dec 31st gets the award.

It would be really nice if the award was something like an NHC tankard and a year's free membership.

Now I can see that one being hotly contested
