So we had both the brown ale and the one with the coffee addition last night. Half preferred the coffee, half preferred the regular. My general feeling was that the coffee wasn't strong enough and the Citra hops clashed a little bit. If rebrewing I would up the amount of coffee and skip the dry hops. I really liked the non-coffee version myself, the creaminess came out perfectly but I'd probably aim to mash a little higher next time or add more wheat to get a bit more body into it.

Just tapped my Janet's Brown tonight. It's good, I'm drinking it happily but it's very different to my last batch on my old system. Lacking the same bitterness (something I've learned about my new system/beersmith profile is I need more ibus) and I didn't dry hop this one. Also used athanum instead of cascade and I'm not mad on it.  It's to subtle enough that the beer is still good but it's too perfumey for my liking. Still it's a tasty beer, lovely chocolatey malt character and the body is lush and full with the wheat and high finishing gravity, very smooth.
